• Recommended to help prolong the life of the backup pad when sanding with 6” net abrasive discs. • The protection pad can help reduce pad degradation especially when sanding heavier grades of net abrasives. • Installed between the tool and the abrasive, the protection pad helps reduce wear and tear on the backup pad. • The addition of a protection pad can help reduce the frequency of backup pad replacements and maintain consistent attachment of your abrasives. • The thin protection pad has no impact on abrasive performance or dust extraction. • It has excellent hole alignment with Festool Multi-Jetstream 2 backup-pad and is compatible with other backup pads. • Can be used with any brand’s 6” hook-and-loop discs.
