• The rescue boat, type RSQ 450 A, is designed for long time heavy duty operations under adverse and extreme weather conditions. • It has been designed especially to rescue people in distress as well as to marshal life rafts. • It is a rigid rescue boat, completely made of seawater-resistant aluminum. • The main advantage of aluminum is that it hardly requires any maintenance. • Contrary to the conventional GRP and especially inflatable rescue boats, the influences of ultraviolet rays and seawater are totally negligible, which obviously works out well to the life span of the RSQ 450 A. • Its V-shaped hull construction guarantees an optimum planing and subsequent sailing speed with excellent stability characteristics. • Maximum people: 6. • Length overall: 4,875 mm.
